This Privacy Policy explains how Gymembers, operated by BrownGlobal Holdings LLC, handles information used to provide gym-management software.
Information we handle
Depending on how a gym uses Gymembers, the service may handle gym account and location details; membership plans; member names, email addresses, phone numbers, member IDs and membership dates; check-in activity; payment records; class information; imported data; and subscription or billing identifiers associated with the gym's Gymembers account.
Public membership pages
A gym may choose to publish selected membership options, location details, opening hours, phone number and similar business information on a public Gymembers page. These pages are informational only and do not collect membership applications or member payment details.
How member information enters Gymembers
Gym operators add or import their own member records after collecting that information through their normal business process. The gym is responsible for the member information it places in Gymembers and for how it uses that information in its business.
How information is used
Information is used to operate Gymembers, authenticate accounts, display gym records, process imports, maintain check-in and payment histories, provide reports, administer subscriptions, secure the service and provide support.
Payments
Gymembers subscription payments are handled by a payment provider. BrownGlobal Holdings LLC does not need to store full payment-card details in Gymembers. Payment records that a gym enters for its own members may include the payment method and amount but should not include full card numbers or other sensitive card credentials.
Service providers
BrownGlobal Holdings LLC uses service providers for hosting, authentication, database and payment functions. Those providers may process information as needed to provide their services and protect their systems.
Retention and account requests
Information is retained for as long as reasonably needed to provide the service, maintain business and security records, resolve disputes and meet legal obligations. Gym operators are responsible for responding to their members' privacy requests concerning information the gym controls, while account holders may contact BrownGlobal Holdings LLC about information connected to their Gymembers account.
Security
Gymembers uses access controls and cloud services intended to protect account data. No online service can guarantee absolute security, so account holders should use strong credentials and limit access to authorized people.
